The form of the room tent was designed in a wind tunnel and therefore has very little air resistance, which affects gas mileage in a positive way. Modern, flowing forms provide for a contemporary design. As an option, the CM roof tent can be produced in the same color as your car.
WORKMANSHIP
Only the highest quality materials are used to produce to roof tent. The five latches are made out of stainless steel and are adapted from sailing. The transport railing as well as the sealing strip are made out of aluminum. All of the 130 screws used in the production of the roof tent are also made of stainless steel. The roof tent has an elaborate sealing lip on both the bottom as well as the top shell. This guarantees that the inside of the tent stays dry even while driving on the highway in the pouring rain. |

Weighing only 46 kilograms, the CM Roof Tent is a lightweight and barely affects vehicle handling. The Roof Tent can be mounted on any model of car, due to the fact that the maximum roof load of almost all cars is at least 50 kilograms. The roof load obviously applies only to moving vehicles. The maximum roof load is much higher when the vehicle is not moving, due to the fact that every car manufacturer must prove that the roof will remain stable even in cases of a rollover in order for the car to be deemed street legal. |
